Terms built for conversation.
These terms govern your use of Parluo. By creating an account, joining a call or purchasing a plan, you agree to them.
1. The service
Parluo provides private internet calls with automated live speech translation. Translation is generated by AI and can contain delays, omissions or errors. Parluo is not an emergency, medical, legal or safety-critical interpretation service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Keep your account secure and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Calls and participant consent
You may invite only people who agree to participate and to have their speech processed for live translation. Parluo does not record calls. You must not record another person without every permission required by applicable law.
4. Plans and meeting limits
- The introductory trial includes one translated meeting of up to 10 minutes.
- A single-meeting purchase includes one translated meeting of up to 60 minutes.
- Pro includes up to 15 translated meetings per monthly billing period, each up to 60 minutes.
- Business includes up to 50 translated meetings per monthly billing period, each up to 60 minutes.
- Creating or scheduling a meeting does not use an allowance. A meeting is used and its timer begins only after two participants have connected to the room.
Unused subscription meetings do not roll over. Current prices and taxes are displayed before payment.
5. Payments and renewals
One-time purchases are charged once. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You authorise our payment provider to charge the payment method shown at checkout. You can cancel future renewals at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period unless stated otherwise.
Refunds and consumer withdrawal rights are described in our refund and cancellation policy.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Parluo to break the law, harass others, distribute harmful content, infringe rights, access rooms without permission, evade usage limits, reverse engineer the service, overload infrastructure or resell access without written approval. We may restrict or suspend abusive use.
7. Availability and changes
Real-time calls depend on networks, browsers and third-party infrastructure. We work to keep Parluo available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change features to improve security, reliability or legal compliance and will give reasonable notice of material changes when practical.
8. Intellectual property
Parluo’s software, brand and interface belong to Parluo or its licensors. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service, not ownership of it. You retain rights in content you provide.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, Parluo is not liable for decisions based on an inaccurate translation, indirect losses or events outside our reasonable control. For paid use, Parluo’s aggregate contractual liability is limited to the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Ending use
You may stop using Parluo at any time and can manage or delete your account from the account page. We may suspend access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk or legal requirement. Provisions intended to survive termination remain effective.
11. Law and contact
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Please send disputes first to support@parluo.com so we can try to resolve them promptly.
